Puzzle Blocks Ancient is a 60-stage spatial puzzle game where players must arrange Tetris-like pieces inside each level to fit the dimensions of the board precisely. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the hand on the game loading screen to bring up the game welcome screen.
Select the play button in the center of the game welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Initially only the first level is unlocked.
- You unlock a level each time you complete one.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and level ratings.
- At the bottom center of the game’s welcome screen there is a settings button which allows you to read game developer credits, change game language, switch to full screen mode, and control game sound or music.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Use your mouse left click button to select a piece and then drag it into position.
    - If a piece needs rotated, first place your mouse over it and right click it to spin it clockwise 90 degrees. After the piece has the correct orientation drag it into position.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap a piece to spin it.
      - Tap and hold a piece then drag your finger along the screen to drag the piece into position.
      - Controls & indicators
        In the top left of levels it shows which level & stage you are on.
        In the top center your current star rating and total level move count are shown.
        In the top right there is a hints button.
        In the bottom center there is a settings button which opens a menu.
        That menu allows you to return home, go to the level select screen, restart the level, control game music, control game sound, or switch to full screen mode.
        The level select screen shows what star rating you earned on each level.
        Game Play
        Goal
        The goal of this game is to precisely fill the spatial puzzle using the pieces which are given using as few moves as possible.
        If you make a mistake you can select the settings button at the bottom of the level & then select to restart the level.
        There is a hints button in the upper right corner.
        You start the game with 10 hints and earn more as you progress through the game.
        Each level you beat with a 3-star rating earns another hint.
        Worlds
        This game has 3 worlds: Egypt, Greece & Persia.
        You must beat all levels in one world to unlock the next.
        All 3 worlds have similar play with the following exceptions
        In Egypt all pieces & playing fields are of a monotone color.
        In Greece the board has a 2-tone color & you may only lay a piece inside an area of the same color.
        This 2-tone color layout actually makes many of the levels easier than the Egypt levels since it effectively cuts the grid into multiple smaller grids with less play options for each.
        In Persia some boards have gems in them, where you must align the gems on the pieces with the gems on the playing field.
        The gem positions on the pieces & playing field can often be used to lay the first few pieces & then you can lay other pieces based on deductive reasoning.
        Levels
        Each world has 20 level on it.
        Each level may have 1 to 3 stages on it.
        You must complete each stage within a level to unlock the next.
        You must complete each level inside a world to unlock the next.
        Star ratings
        On each level you can earn up to a 3-star rating.
        You earn stars by completing the puzzle using few moves.
        Rotate the piece to the correct orientation before moving it or else you will use extra moves.
        Be careful when selecting and moving pieces as you use a move even if you only drag the piece part way or put it almost in position.
        You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to improve your score and star rating.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like shape filling spatial puzzle games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
