How to Play

Play Flower Mahjong Connect online for free. Flower Mahjong Connect is a timed 40-stage Mahjong Connect game with a floral theme. Connect matching tiles with a path to one another until you clear the entire field. The path between the tiles should not have more than 2 right angle turns. Remove tiles in rapid succession to activate the chain bonus and earn a high score. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
Select Help to learn the game’s rules.
Select High Scores to view the game’s leaderboard.
Select the gear button on the bottom right corner to open the following controls:
- Use the speaker and music buttons to turn the game’s sound on and off.
- Use Reset to clear your game progress.
- Use the drop-down list on the bottom left corner of the screen to choose the game’s language.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap on the tiles with your fingers to select them.
      - Controls and indicators
        The game’s controls and indicators are located at the right side of the screen. From the top, they are as follows:
        Box
        Level number
        Level score
        Timer
        First row, left to right:
        Hint button
        Shuffle button
        Second row, left to right:
        Pause button
        Enlarge button: Lets you switch between windowed and full-screen modes
        Third row, left to right:
        Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio effects on and off
        Music button: Turns the game’s music on and off
        On the level selection screen are the following controls:
        The game’s levels are shown as icons on the central part of the screen.
        This part of the screen appears as pages with 10 level icons each.
        On either side of the center frame are navigation buttons. Use these to move between pages.
        The bottom row contains the following controls:
        Menu button: Takes you back to the welcome screen
        Your Total Score
        Play button: Starts the game
        Game Play
        Level selection
        Levels are unlocked sequentially:
        Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
        Finishing one level automatically unlocks the next one.
        Select Next Level on the win screen to return you to the level selection screen.
        There are 40 levels in this game.
        You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
        Basic rules
        Select identical pairs of tiles to remove them from the field.
        The tiles must be connectable by a single line with no more than 2 right angles.
        Adjacent pairs of tiles can also be selected and removed.
        The tiles will slowly merge together when paired.
        Remove all the tiles onscreen before the level timer expires to clear the level.
        You start with 1 minute and 7 seconds on the clock on the first level. Later levels have a x time limit and x stones.
        You fail the level if you don’t clear all the tiles in time.
        You can try again.
        You can also end your playthrough. This lets you save your score in the leaderboard.
        Scoring
        You have 2 scores in this game:
        Your level score represents your best score in the level.
        Your total score is the sum of all your level scores.
        Level score:
        Every pair of tiles you clear adds 50 points to your level score.
        You also receive a chain bonus for clearing 3 or more pairs in rapid succession.
        The lowest bonus you can get is 30 points.
        The longer your chain, the higher your bonus.
        The chain bonus scoring goes like: 30, 60, 100, 150, 210, 280, 360, 450, 550, 660, 780, 910, 1,050, 1,200, 1,360, 1,530, 1,710, 1,900, 2,100 etc.
        Wait too long between pairs and the chain ends. You will then receive the points you earned from the chain you built up until that point.
        After finishing, you receive 30 bonus points for every second remaining on the timer.
        You can improve your level score by replaying the level and earning a higher score.
        Your level score is shown below the level’s icon on the selection screen.
        Total Score
        You can improve your total score by playing more levels or replaying earlier levels.
        Your total score is shown in the bottom center of the level selection screen.
        There are 2 ways to save your total score:
        Play through all 40 levels.
        End the playthrough after a game over.
        Assistance
        You get an unlimited number of hints and shuffles.
        Selecting the hint button will show you any valid pair of tiles.
        Shuffles rearrange the stones on the stack. This is useful if you want to make more obvious pairs.
        However, hints and manual shuffles cost points. Use them sparingly.
        Hints cost 200 points
        Manual shuffles cost 300 points.
        Strategy to earn a high score
        The key to earning a high score in this game is to try to beat levels on a single chain to maximize your chain bonus.
        If you periodically match stones which are far away from each other that will give you more time to make the next match and keep the chain going.
        You can replay levels where you lost the chain to see if you can keep it throughout the next play.
        If you are struggling to make a complete chain on a level keep playing other levels and then later come back to it to try it again.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Connect tile match games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
